Southern Redhead Farms Rescue, Inc

A 501c3 non-profit organization created for the purpose of equine rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing. Far too many horses,  mules, donkeys, and other equines are sent to “kill-pens” for various  reasons and then shipped out of country to become dog food.  It is the stated purpose of Southern Redhead Farms Rescue, Inc. to  ensure that neglected, abandoned, mistreated and malnourished equines  are rescued, receive quality care and treatment, and are placed with  loving and caring people.  We are very proud that Dr. Victoria was asked to participate on the board of directors and also be able to ensure the health and welfare of the horses they care for!

Morriston Veterinary Services is a proud veterinary partner to SEGD. We are looking forward to being able to assist those in need excited to be able to help provide wellness exams and preventative care to very deserving human-canine partners at no cost! Stay tuned as we will pass along information as we get it on this new chapter of our community involvement!

Morriston Veterinary Services is proud to partner with K9 CARES, Inc. We donate our veterinary time to ensure healthy pups are ready for action! We are a fervent believer in the power of the Human-Animal Bond and the two way street that heals and protects!

Every puppy/adult dog that comes into the K9 CARES program, receives a full physical exam from our veterinary team and is covered for life for preventative care services so that they may fulfill their potential as a healing element in the life of a human partner.

K9 C.A.R.E.S. Inc’s mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and train abused and neglected dogs, then partner them with victims of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault, with the purpose of emotional support, psychological healing, and future marketable skills to better enhance the well-being and happiness of both human and canine through the close relationship built on trust, understanding, and encouragement that is achieved as an added result of the training process. K9 C.A.R.E.S. Inc’s vision is to one day have a trained emotional support animal in every foster home, domestic violence shelter, and rape crisis center to help during the most crucial first steps in the healing process, while continuing to improve the lives and the healing process of both human and canine victims.
